Dear Parents/Guardians,
Greetings to you ail.
Change is the essence of life. The institution has had a change of principal on account of superannuation of its former principal. This change takes on a whole new meaning when you think of the new hopes and new promises the new principal will bring.
I take pride in being a harbinger of academic and school campus culture that I bring with me after having worked under the renowned Mayo General Council of Ajmer. As the new term commences and the school sets rolling, we reaffirm our commitment of introducing progressive trends in teaching and shall constantly endeavour to achieve benchmarks in imparting quality education.
The school is abuzz with news on launching of Educomp aided Smart Class Rooms and
SAS-The electronic assessment system.I am sure your wards get back home to share their
experience of technology in education. A large number of new students have joined the
school and we welcome them in folds of JMPS fraternity .Should there be any point
regarding the school transport kindly get in touch with our Transport Manager, Mr.Vijay
Jamwal. (9419235265).It would be good to understand that the school does not encourage
change of section/house once allotted. '
It would be nice on your part if you could inculcate a sense of pride in your wards and motivate them for good demeanors in school. Right from a shining morning face and well groomed hair (including proper haircuts for boys) to perfectly polished black shoes should all become a must do drill for a school child. We would like to see the students smartening up in their school uniform.
This is the right time for all the students to take stock of their academics Especially the batch of class X who need to get focused, geared and aim for the best. They need to remember that nothing is impossible. It is important to make the impossible possible and to know that there is never a pain that hides not some gain. They need to manage their time and get started in real earnestness.
It is heartening to note that many of the parents have been keenly involved with the progress of the school and have often been forthcoming in their feedback to us. t assure you that we shall give priority to the concerns expressed by the parents.
I am happy to inform you that we have taken a retook at the rigorous cycle test system. In compliance with the CBSE initiatives, we have now introduced the Assessment System for classes I, II and III for which the grading pattern has subsequently replaced the marks. Further details of this pattern are furnished in my notice letter to the parents of classes I, II and III students. We do hope that this flexible and relaxing academic improvisation will go a long way in reducing the academic pressure on these little ones and helping them accomplish their potential in a stress tree environment.
The school has also given momentum to co-curricular activities where every performance contributes to the all-round development, of a child's personality. Our students' enthusiasm has grown in leaps and bounds, as they try to excel not just in studies but in all areas. We have also introduced Scouts and Guides for the primary children and junior $CC wing for the middle section students. This will positively enhance their personalities and inculcate a feeling of camaraderie.
Spoken English remains an area of great challenge. The perfect way to get children build up good spoken English is to get them to follow some learning activities as follows —Let your children learn to listen, learn new words, learn to speak, learn to answer, learn to write, learn to read, learn to sing, learn to retell, learn to dramatize and team to converse,
The school and the parents are in a joint partnership and we do hope you sustain the relationship by adding values to the education we impart. I have a story for each one of you as parents/guardians:
There was a man who made his living selling ballons at a fair. He had balloons of many different colours, including red, yellow, Blue and green. Whenever his Business was slow, he would release a helium filled balloon into the air. When tie children saw the balloon going up into the shy they alt wanted one and his sales would pickup. One day, the ballons man felt some one tugging at his jacket. 'He turned around and saw this little boy Beside him who asked, "If you release a black ballon would that also fly?" Moved By the Boy's concern the man replied gently, "Son, it is not the colours of the Balloon, it is what is inside the ballon that make it go up. *
We do hope you instill those right kind of values in your children so that they rise higher than the highest in life.
As parents and guardians, you are important stake holders in the growth and development of this school and I look forward to hearing from you on any matter pertaining to the content of this letter.
Education should be the biggest and the best adventure in a child's life. With good wishes, Yours sincerely,
